TJ, originally from the vibrant city of Atlanta, brings a deep passion for faith and cultivating community to his role as lead pastor. With a lifelong dedication to serving and empowering others on their spiritual journey, TJ has found his calling in guiding individuals and families toward a deeper relationship with God.

With six years of experience serving on staff at a church in the heart of Washington, DC, TJ brings a wealth of experience in ministering to diverse communities and navigating the challenges and opportunities of urban ministry. Joined by his wife Katie Beth, TJ cherishes the opportunity to explore the diverse and dynamic landscape of New York.

As the lead pastor of Harlem Community Church (HCC), TJ is deeply committed to leading a team that ministers effectively to the unique needs of the Harlem community. Together, they embrace the challenge of building a church that serves as a beacon of hope and transformation in the heart of Harlem.

Tianna and Philip Bowles, both 25 years old, have an adorable cat named Arlo. They are excited to serve as the Worship & Music Directors at Harlem Community Church. Philip, born and raised in Virginia, started playing keys at church at the age of 14, sparking a lifelong passion for music and worship. Tianna, from Wilmington, Delaware, was also raised in the church and began leading worship at the age of 14, quickly falling in love with leading others in praise and worship.

Best friends for 8 years and married for 2, Tianna and Philip have shared their love for music and ministry from the very beginning. For them, leading worship isn't just about the music; it's about creating a space where people can encounter God and experience His presence. They are dedicated to fostering a vibrant and welcoming worship community at Harlem Community Church. Their belief in the power of worship to transcend and transform is perfectly captured by the quote, "Where words fail, music speaks." They look forward to continuing this beautiful journey with their church family.

Erika Hasselmayer Dore currently runs marketing and manages all things social media for Harlem Community Church. Born and raised in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Erika's heart has always been deeply rooted in serving others and sharing the love of God.

From a young age, Erika has been actively involved in ministry, whether it was handing out free dinners, walking around the neighborhood spreading the gospel, leading within the kid ministry, or volunteering at various church events. Serving has always been a passion of hers, and she finds joy in seeing the impact that can be made in the community.

Currently, Erika is a full-time college student pursuing a degree in digital marketing, combining her love for creativity and technology. In addition to her studies and church responsibilities, she is also a full-time photographer, capturing moments and stories through her lens.
